WEDDING OFFICIANT

Your wedding is a momentous event in your life that should honor and celebrate your unique relationship. I firmly believe that a stranger at your ceremony should leave feeling like they know you and who you are as a couple. Using my background as a Spiritual Director, ritualist and event planner, I listen to the stories of your relationship for the moments of courage and the amazing ways that you live into the authenticity of your relationship.

I listen for the stories of bliss and the tales of disagreement that every couple experiences. I listen for the quiet moments when one knows what is right, for one’s own self or with our partners. I then weave these moments of a couple's shared life into a customized wedding ceremony that represents and expresses the love they share.  

Each of us long to be known, to be our truest self, and we want to express our authenticity especially within the ceremony where we make sacred promises to one another. I am passionate about creating spaces where that desire for authentic expression can be realized.  Whether using religious or secular language, the personalized wedding ceremonies I create help couples reflect to their assembled guests the personality of their relationship and the values they hold together.  I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Theology.  I have officiated weddings in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and California.

"I worked with Sarah, at a wedding at Camrose Flower Farm in Stillwater in May. What a lovely experience. She was professional, and personable. She kept the couples vision of their wedding at the forefront and was always considerate of all the people involved with planning a wedding. She worked exceptionally well with all the vendors, parents, and the couple to help everyone; not only was everyone able to focus on the couple, but also to have fun in being a part of the wonderful day.

I especially enjoyed the Blessing of the Rings that she included in the ceremony. It was a lovely way to include the wedding party, the families, and the guests in such a significant part of the ceremony. Sarah's message of love for the couple, was geared especially towards them, and this made the service even more special. A customized message is such a wonderful way for the couple to start out their newly married life together.

As the wedding coordinator, there are many details that must be coordinated, and working with Sarah, made that aspect of the day so simple. She was professional, and open to suggestions, she allowed me to offer up various recommendations for walking in and out of the ceremony, as well as requests to help manage the time structure of the day. She was excellent with communicating the order of the service and in seeking clarification for any details of the ceremony that the couple wanted to have included.

Packages Available:

Conscious Couples package is for couples who see their partnership as a pathway towards their full selves. Each partner is a teacher for the other and all conflict is an invitation into healing and intimacy. This package includes enhanced pre-marital counseling that includes spiritual connection and practice learning for you and your partner. Creation of a custom ceremony script for your wedding. Officiating rehearsal and wedding ceremonies and handling state license paperwork.

Cost $3,000

All Inclusive package is for couples who don’t want or need the highly conscious spiritual focus, but still want a tailored ceremony that reflects their experiences and values. This package includes Prepare Enrich pre-marital counseling, a custom written ceremony script, officiating rehearsal and the wedding ceremony and handling state license paperwork.

Cost $1,800

Basic Ceremony package is for couples who do not want the pre-marital counseling portion of the package. This includes custom wedding ceremony script, officiating rehearsal and wedding and handling state license paperwork.

Cost $1,200

Elopement package is for couples who are planning a very small ceremony and want either a civil ceremony or a lightly customized wedding ceremony that can be put together in a short time. This package includes a ceremony script, officiating the ceremony and handling state license paperwork.

Cost $500 add a rehearsal for $100 more.
